The Forum
|
The forum is one of the most popular parts of this website. On this ‘meeting place of Pergamano® hobbyists from all over the world’ you can communicate with others about the hobby. You can, for example, place a suggestion, ask a question, ask for advice or place your reaction on a forum message of someone else. We’ve shortened up the forum a bit. This is because we want to keep the forum more up-to-date and well-organized.
We also lined up the forum rules for you again and completed them. These rules make sure the forum will be a nice and positive place to talk and make contact with other Pergamano® hobbyists. Take a few minutes to read the forum rules.
FORUM RULES
We tolerate a lot on the forum, but it’s not meant for commercial purposes and not for slanging-matches, personal attacks and arguing. We find it important that the visitors of our forum are helpful to each other and respect each other. The editorial staff has the right to remove individuals when they misbehave consistently. Placed messages can also be shortened up or removed.
RESPECT EACH OTHER
The forum is a cosy and positive meeting place for parchment craft lovers and we want to keep it like that. On the forum it’s ok to be yourself (for example: be happy, mad, enthusiast or sad), as long as you respect the other forum visitors. That’s why racist and/or hurtful language isn’t permitted. The editors of the forum will remove such messages. We promise to take care of the forum with a lot of enthusiasm and appreciation for it’s members.
REPORT PROBLEMS
When you meet someone that doesn’t play by the rules, you can send us an e-mail (info@pergamano.com). Don’t make a fuzz about it on the forum, because that makes the trouble only worse.
STAY WITH THE HOBBY
The forum is, of course, to communicate about Pergamano® . Lately we’ve noticed that there are people who place messages on the forum about subjects that have nothing to do with the hobby, like messages about politics, the World Cup football or private affairs like smoking. Such messages will, from now on, be removed by the editors.

One I keep completely for white ink as it is difficult to clean the nib. Another I keep for the thick gold and silver etc. inks and a third I keep for tinta colours. I tip I saw in another magazine I'll pass on, it's great in its simplicity. Cut a hole in a washing up sponge the size of your ink bottle. If you put the bottle in there when using ink you'll never spill it again - something I've done many times in the past. |

I have purchase most of my items and my intentions are not to get something for free because I rather work with an original. Thanks to those angels that still exist on earth, I have been able to obtain certain things that are no longer in circulation. We all start this hobby sharing our items, then they get hooked and they will buy their own stuff, my whole point in this is that even if you get a pattern you still have to buy something to achieve it, wether is tools, paper etc., so authors or others will still make money. Anyway at the end I respect everyone's wishes and rules as I would like people to respect mine, but keep in mind I am a very giving person and sometimes we can't change.
It is a motivation anyhow to see all the cards posted and I enjoy that most of all................thanks Sonia |

I am new to pergamano having received a kit for christmas. I find that the mapping pen is very scratchy and would appreciate any tips and I made a blob with the tinta ink and couldn't remove it all but I will persevere as i think there are some stunning cards to be made. |

I'm sure if everyone could read ALL the messages, it would be of much more benefit to everyone, and also being able to access topics once deleted would be another advantage....hope there is a way too implement a language translator.

Anyone who is away from home for a few weeks, perhaps on holiday or ill in hospital would miss vital posts on the forum.
