Feb 5, 2010attaching the card
  Corinne Ciantar
 Hi,
I've got a difficulty with what to use to attach cards to inserts and backsheets as when I usually use tiny drops of perga glue, it still shows and work comes untidy. What can I use other than perga glue please?

Hi Corrinne I always stitch mine too. Perga glue is good but it always shows through.

I have tried all sorts of ways to do this. I think sewing is the best way to go.

Do you sew the work piece even for larger projects, such as when mounting a border to the backsheet? As for cards I think it is quite easy as you sew it at the fold line. What about larger pieces?

hi Corinne, i don't sew mine as it might take a little while and i can be quite impatient. Instead i either use double sided tape or the spray glue. Spray glue works quite well if you have a good one and it doesn't show through. Hope this helps. good luck best regards Lucy

hi corinne i use invisible thread and work through the holes in the pattern. if there is no cutting in the pattern i would use very small pieces of the extra strong sticky tape, and hide them under embossing. i hope you understand what i mean:-)) hugs pam
